How GameSpeed AI handles SMS consent, content, and opt-out

Who sends the messages
GameSpeed AI is the sole SMS sender on this platform. GameSpeed AI is a software platform used by amateur/AAU basketball programs (coaches, clubs, parents) across the United States. When a coach on our platform communicates with parents of athletes in their program, the text messages are sent by GameSpeed AI on behalf of that coach — messages always identify both the program and GameSpeed AI as the sender.
Example sender line: "Jersey Shore Predators via GameSpeed AI: Practice tonight at 6pm…"
How we collect your consent
- Direct entry by a coach — When a parent is added to a program roster by the team coach, the coach sees this disclosure in the form before saving: "An opt-in confirmation text will be sent to this number from GameSpeed AI asking them to reply YES to receive team alerts. They can reply STOP any time to unsubscribe."
- Parent receives confirmation SMS — GameSpeed AI immediately sends the parent a confirmation text:
"Hi [Name], this is [Program Name] via GameSpeed AI. Reply YES to opt-in to team alerts (practices, games, tournaments, invoices). Reply STOP to never receive messages. Msg & data rates may apply."
- Parent must reply YES — no further messages are sent until the parent explicitly replies YES. Their status is recorded as confirmed only after we receive their affirmative reply.
- Storage — opt-in status, timestamp, and phone number are stored in our database. Only opt-in-confirmed numbers receive further messaging.
What messages you may receive
- Practice & game reminders ("Practice tonight 6pm at Morristown Beard School")
- Schedule changes ("Saturday's game has been moved to 1pm")
- Tournament alerts ("Tournament bracket out — first game Sat 9am")
- Invoice & payment reminders ("Monthly dues invoice is ready")
- Roster and team updates (new player, jersey pickup, etc.)
Typical volume: 4–8 messages per month per parent. Higher during active seasons and tournament weeks.
How to opt out
Reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any message to opt out immediately. You'll receive one final confirmation that you've been unsubscribed, then no further SMS will be sent from GameSpeed AI for this program.
To re-subscribe later, reply START or YES, or ask your coach to re-add you.

This platform operates under an ISV/Platform model where GameSpeed AI is the sole registered sender on behalf of all customer programs on the platform.
